Join Baltimore’s arts community as we celebrate the work and talents
of our city’s great treasure Maria Broom, while raising the much
needed funds for Maria’s medical expenses.

 

The event will include hors d’oeuvres, a buffet dinner, open bar, a silent
auction, and performances from many local artists including nationally
enowned slam poet Gayle Danley.

 

Please register by Thursday, September 17.

 

Unable to make the event, please consider making a donation to the
Maria Broom Medical Fund, becoming an event volunteer, or donating
an item to the silent auction.

Young Audiences/Arts for Learning transforms the lives and education of our youth through the arts by connecting educators, professional artists, and communities. We provide artistically excellent programs, expertise, and resources to ensure opportunities for all students across the state of Maryland.

Over the last 58 years, Young Audiences has generated 32 chapters in 24 states. Collectively, we reach more than 7 million youth, educators, and families. Locally, YA delivers live performing and visual arts programs to Maryland’s 22 school jurisdictions, nearly 13 times a day, every day of the school year.
